  Sandy Hollway AO, Chair

Sandy is well known for his role as CEO of SOCOG, the Sydney Organising Committee for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, where he led over 120,000 people in delivering ’the best Olympics ever’.  Sandy has contributed to a wide range of private and public sector projects ranging from bushfire and cyclone recovery, to major events management, including the Olympic Games, to promotion of Australian business abroad, especially in China, to private sector advice and CEO mentoring.


Brendan Welsh

The ITNewcom Foundation is Brendan’s brainchild. Brendan founded ITNewcom in 1997. Since that time, ITNewcom has grown into a leading benchmarking and sourcing consultancy in the Asia Pacific region. Brendan has over 25 years experience in the ICT industry, and specialises in ICT sourcing, benchmarking, sourcing strategy and contract negotiations. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW.


Debbie McLaughlin

Debbie is a Partner at ITNewcom and also Head of Research. She has over 20 years experience in ICT sourcing and contracting, specialising in sourcing strategy and sourcing transactions. Debbie has worked in all aspects of ITNewcom's business across both private and public sector organisations, and is recognised for her extensive knowledge of the ICT market, technologies and trends. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW.


Stuart Gibson

Stuart is a Partner at ITNewcom and also is the Practice Manager for our Canberra Practice. Stuart has over 15 years experience in the ICT industry, with significant experience leading large scale programs with multi-disciplinary teams. He specialises in ICT strategy, governance, sourcing and program management. He also has extensive experience in commercial and service delivery management. Stuart holds an MBA from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Wollongong.
