The ITNewcom Foundation, established in 2011, gives Indigenous Australians an opportunity to continue the education journey through university and to see more and more Indigenous Australians occupying seats at the boardroom table.
We're looking to give another 40 young indigenous scholars a chance to complete a degree at one of Australia’s leading universities before our upcoming ten year anniversary.
The University of New South Wales is the first university partner of the ITNewcom Foundation. UNSW will be providing academic support and on-campus accommodation to the ITNewcom Foundation scholars. At the secondary level we partner with Yalari, a not-for-profit organisation that offers Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities and towns across Australia the opportunity for a first-class secondary education, through scholarships to attend some of Australia’s leading boarding schools.
The ITNewcom Foundation is chaired by Sandy Hollway AO.
